After reading your paper I had to look up Congenital Insensitivity to Pain disorder and learn more about it. For someone to have this disorder, they have to have mutiated gene and is a genitic disorder. This condition is inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern, which means both copies of the gene in each cell have mutations. The parents of an individual with an autosomal recessive condition each carry one copy of the mutated gene, but they typically do not show signs and symptoms of the condition. It can also be called Congenital Analgesia. Doctors normaly dont see sysmptons right after birth. For some people it is not something that is easy to deal with, or something they can make their minds work different with out some help. People that suffer from pain that is “all in their head” also suffer from something else. The pain that they feel is real. It is not fake or created but is the result of a disorder. Some of these disorders are depressive disorders, anxiety disorder, somatoform disorders and more. Somatoform disorders are chronic pain that is diagnosed when tests and laboratory work can’t determine that cause of the pain. Somatoform disorders are often treated with the help of antidepressant medication like serotonin reuptakers and tricyclic antidepressants. Although I treat myself to it way more then I should. Making it through a day at work is enough "special ocation" for me to treat myself to cake or other sweets.

Clean laundry smell is a wonderful smell, infact I think that is my favorite smell on a man that I like. Nothing like hugging a guy that smells like clean laundry, also very rare. Smells that we smell everyday trigger memories that can bring us great memories or could be a warning to us. Like smelling something that once made us sick, like sour milk, would warn us to not drink that again.

Sensory adaption is a very useful thing for us. Everyone's home has there own smell, I remember talking about this with a friend when I was little. I though her house smelled like a solon, made sinse due to her mom being a stylest. She though my home smelled like lemons, and my mom was a baker and cleaner. But I could not smell that myself. We don't smell what our homes smell like all the time due to sensory adaption. We smell this smell all the time so our senses get use to these smells. It would probley drive me crazy if I smell my house smell all the time so I am very thank ful for this. It also is helpful in the way of being able to smell other smells that are not normal, or could be danger. Like the smell of leaking gas, or something burning. Those smells are not normal all the time smells or or sences pick it up and warn us that there is something
