Recently, war has become a huge problem in many countries around the world. War is defined as a violent mass conflict between two or more armed forces or actors in warfare. The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), previously known as Zaire gained independence from Belgium in 1960 and immediately descended into a state of conflict and disarray. It is a vast country, covering territory about the size of Western Europe and include a wide variety of geographic regions. However, the war is ravaging the land in one of the most complex African conflicts. The Democratic Republic of Congo is currently at war due to several reasons. Conflict prevention was meant to be an integral part of the operation and was covered by the mandate. Thus, violence have continued to occur. Fighting among rebel groups exploiting historical rivalries between two ethnic groups (the Hemas and the Lendus) in the northeast Ituri region has taken place, giving rise to appalling atrocities, particularly in the town of Bunia. First, Congo is suffering heavily because of the obstinacy and the ultimate analyses incompetence of the regime led by Kabila. Peace and war depends on the political choices that the nation has chosen and the leadership. Laurent Kabila was the late president, and as the real successor of Mobutu, he permitted and promoted favoritism, corruption, racial hate against “foreigners”. Second, the largest Congo conflict is connected to the 1994 genocide in the neighboring country of Rwanda. The offense of the rebels against minerals and diamonds rich Kasaï became decisive for Kabila’s political survival. Thus, the region in war could not benefit the investors relations to develop the economic situation. Actually, the democratic republic of Congo is facing their consequences after the war but the contributions of donors countries to pragrammes aimed at eradicating illicit trade, economic activities . This impact the informal economy both livrlihoods of the poor as well as profit-making activities of the better off. In conclusion, peace is maintained after the level of violence and destruction that had been caused by the two countries Rwanda and the DRC. Donors countries must provide a combination of assistance and pressure for the resolution of problems in the political settlement which provide incentives for exist and violence, and transform incentives of producers and traders.
