Students from Elon university were asked through a survey a series of question regarding their technology habits, thoughts on face to face communication and their engagement when it came to both faces to face communication and online communication. One important question the students were asked was if they believed of the degrading of a conversation with the presence of technology, eighty-nine percent believed in the degrading of conversation with the presence of technology (Drago, Emily).
