In recent times, the ways in which people communicate have changed significantly, and new technologies are increasingly being used for communication in everyday life. The barrier of connecting between one area and another area has decreased. Furthermore, the advantages of modern technologies are more convenient than in the past. The term modern methods of communication can be defined as the new ways of contacting, which are advantageous for human relationships and these modern technologies that give advantages to the values of society or to the principles of a community. Therefore, modern methods of communication have amplified the values of society, because they are useful for everyday life and offer more benefits than detriments for it. This can be argued by demonstrating three aspects of modern methods of communication in how they advance educational opportunities, how medical science has been encouraged and how mobile phones allow instant connection worldwide.
Educational opportunities are more accessible by new telecommunication methods.
Generally, telecommunications such as broadcast satellite and television can be used to support education systems worldwide.
Specifically, learners from different areas can be taught even in large groups or from remote areas and this can significantly reduce unbalanced learning among society, especially in developing areas.
Hanna (2010, pp 176-177) claims that, the education process in Pakistan has launched such new technologies as broadcast satellite to enhance learning in different areas. This program allows students from disadvantaged places to receive the same quality of education as students from cities with adequate education facilities. Students from 60 cities in Pakistan...

...eroded in long term. The advantages between technology and tradition methods can support society in different ways, but the advancement of mobile communication can strongly benefit communication system worldwide and that significantly increase the values of society.
In conclusion, it can be said that the advancement of modern methods of communication encourages a different level of medical science worldwide. The relationship between each society can be connected significantly. Also, the educational opportunities can be created equally in different areas. Therefore, modern methods of communication are partly responsible for human being, and the benefits of technologies strongly increase the level of community around the global. Eventually, it can be forecasted that the improvement of communication system will be a major part of world community for long term.
Poor countries do not always have resources to fit the bill of education services for technology. “For children in poor countries, future connectivity promises new access to educational tools…” (Schmidt 227). “Physical classrooms will remain dilapidated; teachers will continue to take paychecks and not show up for class; and books and supplies will still be scarce” (Schmidt 227). A survey was done in 2012 about Ethiopia give out tablets fully loaded with educational information to poor country; it irresistibly gave poor students a wealth of knowledge where students could write and speak English (Schmidt 227-228). Inversely, the education of poor countries has hit all time low. The countries that do not have the finance to buy or create technology for classes is detrimental to the country growth. Technology must be available for everyone. The world is hindered from becoming a better place without technology being present in education. “Just imagine the implications of these burgeoning mobile or tablet-based learning platforms for a country like Afghanistan,
Cellphones, television, and computers are just three of the most popular ways that we communicate in today. They have made a substantial impact on the United States simply by being readily available and easy to use. People are often discussing how technology has impacted us. Many believe that technology is actually hindering society rather than helping it. Then there are those who doubt technology has made our social interactions better. Certainly, this is true; without the advances in technology, our level of social interaction in education, businesses, and relationships would diminish.
...ss social. Our amount of social skills has gone way down over the years. The lawyers and doctors do not have as high of education and the way they interact is not as good. When we talk through messages, it causes conflict resolution, which causes war. What has this world come to, so many kids bring their cell phones to school which distracts them from learning. It is up to the parents to teach their kids the importance of using face to face communication. We cannot back down; limit the amount of electronics they use. We need to make the world more educated with our social skills. If we do not we will begin to rely just on electronics. Connecting through electronic media will never be a satisfactory replacement. “No amount of texting, or blogging or Facebook is as satisfying as a walk in the park with a good friend. Why? Because it is simply our nature” (Stitch 3).
“We barely have time to pause and reflect these days on how far communicating through technology has progressed. Without even taking a deep breath, we’ve transitioned from email to chat to blogs to social networks and more recently to twitter” (Alan 2007). Communicating with technology has changed in many different ways. We usually “get in touch” with people through technology rather than speaking with them face to face. The most popular way people discuss things, with another individual, is through our phones. Phones have been around way before I was born in 1996, but throughout the years, they have developed a phone called a “smart phone”. The smart phone has all kinds of new things that we can use to socialize with our peers. On these new phones, we can connect with our friends or family on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Technology has also developed Skype, a place you can talk with people on the computer with instant voice and video for hours. The new communication changes have changed drastically from the new advances made in technology through our smart phones, social networking sites, and Skype.
Phones have changed over the past twenty years and have had a positive and negative effect on people. Man kind as find many ways to communicate and stay connected with each other and the most common way is by a cellphone. Phones Cellphones have become one apart of our daily lives and some people just cannot live without them. In fact people use them more like computes than an actual phone itself. Most people let their phones control their lives and if their not carful it could have some serious consequences. Phones continue to get more and more advanced as time moves forward. However, in the beginning phones had a tough time getting out to the public however, if it was not for the first step into technology we would not have the phones we have today.
Mobile Phones have improved communication all-over the world and it has also done more good even though it poses a threat to the users. I believe mobile phones have improved communication and has also done more good than bad.
Technology has created a means of making almost everything mobile. People don’t have to make the trip to the bank anymore to deposit checks, or transfer money. The need for maps is long gone. Why make the trip to the movies when you can have almost any movie streamed directly to your phone, laptop or television for a small fee? Purchasing groceries has never been easier, with technology you can purchase your groceries online and have shipped directly to your home. People can now write full papers on the bus and save them on the cloud for simple access later. It is amazing where technology has brought us, but at what cost. Human interaction is on a rapid decline. The Golden Age of Technology is slowly becoming the Age Everyone Stopped Talking to Eachother. It is important to understand just how much of an impact technology is having on society. Technology is creating a gap between people instead of bridging the gaps. Individuals all across the world are c’oncerned with their mobile devices and social media website (those of which who have access) and this is creating, in my opinion, a decline in human interactio...
connect the entire world, and increase the number of resources available to students at any point
With 80% of Americans using internet, and that 80% spending an average of 17 hours a week online (each), according to the 2009 Digital Future Report, we are online more than ever before. People can't go a few hours let alone a whole day without checking their emails, social media, text messages and other networking tools. The average teen today deals with more than 3,700 texts in just a month. The use of technology to communicate is making face to face conversations a thing of the past. We have now become a society that is almost completely dependent on our technology to communicate. While technology can be helpful by making communication faster and easier, but when it becomes our main form of conversation it becomes harmful to our communication and social skills. Technological communication interferes with our ability to convey our ideas clearly. Technology can harm our communication skills by making us become unfamiliar with regular everyday human interactions, which can make it difficult for people to speak publicly. Technology can also harm our ability to deal with conflict. These days it is easier to h...
...r phones update our minds suffer another loss. People are slowly losing their independence to think for themselves and the ability to rely on their own intelligence instead of a computer`s. When this happens, it can endanger the proper development of the personality and hamper the social relationships needed for life together in society. The more we succumb towards technology, the less personality we are capable of retaining. It`s come to the point that the smaller our devices get, the smaller our brains get as well. Technology has vastly improved over just a short amount of time, and societies` dependence on it is strengthened more and more with every day that passes. Yes, it makes life "easier", but the easy way out isn`t always the best way. People don`t just depend on their technology for help anymore. It has come to the point where they depend on it to survive.
...s to experiment and develop various working models and new applications. Knowledge is not confined to the caste based or class based criterion. It is adopted by everyone. Technological tools, such as, I pad and Mobile phones has facilitated the learner to develop and know the basic concepts acquire at least the basic knowledge. It has facilitated the teachers to teach many students from one place even of the different countries. Skype, like applications has made the experts of one country available for others. The same way internet communication has compelled the learners to e-learning technology. It has helped to learn about the geography, culture and ethics of other countries as well. It has helped the learners to develop critical thinking, power of reasoning so well that they have the answer to most of questions even the topic is taught to them in the classroom.
Education, no doubt, has been benefited by communication and information technologies in various levels. From both the sociological and economic points of view, communication and information...
Communication is an interdependent process of sending, receiving, and understanding messages. The definition implies that the components of the communication process cannot be examined separately. Rather, the relationship exists between the sender and the receiver, as well as the environment of the communication event, must be viewed as a whole. According to this perspective, if any of the components and circumstances change (that is, the number of individuals involved in the interaction, seating arrangements, or the time of the day) the communication event is altered. Communication is an ongoing process; we never stop sending and receiving messages. As we will discover, communication is a dynamic process, a process that changes from one communication setting to the next. Although it is difficult to predict, the ways of interpreting communication, certain components are always present in the communication process.
People in the present society have turned from the use of the old means of communication to the more advanced and technological ways of communicating. Technology has made it easier for people to communicate in a faster, efficient, and cost saving means through the introduction of the communication channels. The world has turned out to be the centre for technology with different technologies emerging daily as the people continue to develop from time to time to cope with the growing technology. The benefits of adopting the communication technology are explained in this article which shows why people do not function without technology.
However, due to all these facilities people no longer need to meet in person as much, and interpersonal relationships are suffering worldwide because people are communicating through a small handheld device. Lots of people have Smartphones and they use them almost semi-continuously, including in public settings when they could be making new friends, finding new lovers, and talking/interacting with their current friends. When technology solves one of our problems, we keep immediately coming up with new, larger problems, no technology will ever be able to satisfy our constantly new needs. However, if we allow technology to make our life easier, and focus more on the quality, rather than the quantity of life, and also learn how to use technology to our greatest advantage, such as how to use it to influence others, we can all greatly benefit. For example, the invention of the car allowed us to save time, when compared to walking.
