During my time in high school, I often felt bogged down by the required, yet seemingly worthless classes that I had to take in order to graduate. As a result, I began pondering the opportunities which were open to me that could benefit me in ways that high school failed to do. That being said, the summer before my junior year caused me to seriously consider attending the community college near my high school, which I felt was an amazing opportunity to meet new people, and to take classes which would significantly benefit me in the long-run.
