- Journal-use Evernote. - Learn, grow, evolve and don’t forget to breathe! Whatever knowledge I’ve obtained in college, I find most is impractical, except for study skills and global issues of today’s world. Only after my graduation when I began my teaching career in Chinese universities, I understood how crucial is to have critical thinking and study skills; something that I was never taught. Every teacher that I’ve had only assumed that we had that knowledge; but what is knowledge without understanding anyways? If one has the knowledge of anatomy but never actually understands how it can be applied in physical exercise, will find this knowledge futile. Moreover, none of my teachers taught me practical power of positive thinking, motivation, Emotional Intelligence, or did any confidence building that I trust is paramount in anyone's personal growth and facilitation of our learning processes. Nonetheless, I believe that power is knowledge and by having higher education, because we can strive to change it for generations to come or we can contribute in some other ways for a betterment of our humanity.
