The hypotheses of the project were that coffee would stain your teeth. The eggs that was left in the tea or soda I thought would be less stain than the coffee. The egg that was left in the coffee will look more stain than the tea or soda, but then it turns out the egg in the Coca-Cola was stained more than the egg left in the coffee or tea. The first part of the procedure in this project was to boil nine eggs. After that I place three eggs each in three separate containers with one cup each of tea, coffee, or Coca-Cola. The four brands I chose were Orbit, Trident, Ice Breakers, and Wrigley's Doublemint My hypothesis was that Trident brand would last the longest and Wrigley's Doublemint would last the shortest. I did not use any people in my test. I chewed the same amount of gum at a time and the gum was all the same flavor, mint. All the gum was bought at the same time from the same store. I chewed the four brands of gums between periods of time. When chewing, I timed myself with a stopwatch. When I believed the gum ran out of flavor, I stopped the timmer and recorded the time. The time of washing after the tile was brushed was not a control and varied. Another potential disruption to the data could include the amount of force used on each tile. For each trial, Crest was brushed first which may potentially mean more force went into brushing that tile, causing it to be the whitest. The very first step of my experiment is to get all the equipments and materials I need. What I need for this experiment are six kinds of berries I chose, enough yeasts, x-ray machine and materials for comet assay. The first step of my experiment is to give berries to the yeast. I will give berries to yeast by blending the berries using the blender, and then whiz it, so I can add the juice from the berries to the yeast. While I am doing my experiment I will have to decide how much juice I add to yeast. Then after adding the juice I will x-ray the yeast with the x-ray machine, with the help of an adult. After x-raying the yeast I will use the comet assay technique to see if it damages it or no. My final step is to collect the data.

Soda is such a bad aspect to your daily health because of many reasons. Soda does not contain any essential nutrients needed for a healthy diet, just sugar. Soda is full of empty calories, it does not contain any vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, or fiber. It adds nothing to your diet except excessive amounts of added sugar and unnecessary calories.
For my 6th grade science fair project I chose to find out which drink is better for you and which drink improves performance more, Gatorade or Powerade. I chose this topic because I am an athlete, and it would be nice to know which drink is healthier, along with which drink replenishes better. My group members and myself formed hypotheses to answer these questions. I hypothesized Powerade would be healthier because it has vitamins B-3, B-6, and B-12, while I thought Gatorade would improve performance more because it has more electrolytes, sodium, and potassium. We tested our hypotheses by doing research online and performing experiments.

Overall I think I carried out the experiment in a precise way and I took my time trying to make all my measurements as accurate as possible so that my data is reliable. Next time I will do more tests instead of just 3 so I have more results and so I could get a more accurate average. I will also do the experiment with more fruit juices to see if there are other fruits with a higher content of vitamin C. I will do an experiment to see if there is a difference in Vitamin C levels between fresh juice and store bought juice. I can also test different brands of juice to see if they have different levels of vitamin C.
