Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are very crucial in the evaluation of the practice to be absorbed and implemented by an organization. Often, clinical practice guidelines are defined as the statements that recommend intentions to optimize patient care that is informed by a systematic review of evidence, outcome and findings and an assessment of advantages and benefits and the disadvantages and challenges of alternative care options. As a result, there is the need for medical practitioners to find a way to reduce such cases, especially after surgery. For this to be possible, there is the need for physicians to evaluate each clinical procedure guideline using the Appraisal of guideline research and evaluation tools to ensure that it is appropriate. Research and evaluation tools, are meant to assist in evaluating the appropriate and proposed guidelines to be adopted and implemented as policies and practices in various health care facilities. Moreover, the working group or the stakeholders should extract systematic reviews and clinical trials and analyze all the findings to eliminate chances of adopting inappropriate or the wrong guidelines. The preferences and values of each guideline The work group developed the guidelines in question with the hope that all the stakeholders will be keen to follow them to the letter to reduce if not eliminate any chances or opportunities of errors or infection. Frequent n-service as regular training and refresher courses should be conducted to ensure that both the old and new employees are fully aware of what is expected of them as well as their responsibilities.
