I will post my lesson plans online at teacher pay teachers so that anyone who wanted to implement the program has access. The lesson plans are easy to follow and have both detaled information and step by step instuctions so that anyone who wanted to use them could be successful. St. Thomas Aquinas has an extensive religious education program, from kindergarden to sixth grade. This includes a special needs class, and a sacrement prep class for older students and their parents. One of my biggest challenges was creating lesson plans that would keep every class engaged. For example I learned that the kindergarden class loved acting out the bible stories.

I also always had something for the students to take home to their families each week that would help them to share the story that we had disscused that day with their parents, siblings, and other family members. I am currently working on uploading all my lesson plans to Teachers pay Teachers so that they can be shared with the global community.

My mother used to be a full time teacher, so many of my days off resulted in me being off from school but still in the classroom. I had also been a VBS volunteer and worked with other group of students with both the Dallas Summer Musicals summer intensive and the DISD summer dance intensive. However, before this project I had never had to be the sole leader responsible for all content for such a large group of children. I learned that each grade level requires specific dialog to help them stay focused on the task at hand. I improved my public speacking skills both with the students and the adult volunteers. I had to speak loudly and clearly in order to hold the students attention in the chapel that my classes were held in. I learned that my directions needed to be more specific for the adult volunteers that were working with the project and I
