Many people are different; different skin colors or race and even religions. Not everyone is going to be the same, everyone acts different. There are many unique way to teach children about diversity. Diversity is a big part in everyone’s life no matter who you are. A way to teach children about it could be by making a self-portrait. Another way would be by learning other people’s languages. One last way could be by people’s disabilities. A way to show students about diversity is by having their students make a self-portraits of themselves, by the students doing this is showed that not every student is not the same color. Some of the students that are white are not all the same color white, some are tanner than others and others are pale.

Therefore, in order to overcome potential pitfalls that may create inequity to access, there is a need to explore the different factors encountered in our diverse society that may create these issues. These issues continue as obstacles to achieving cohesive communities. Neighborhoods, schools, churches, and the worlds of science and psychology provide examples of how much discrimination still remains. It is impossible to not engage in cultural oppression to some degree.
