I sincerely from the bottom of my heart want to thank you for your generosity in awarding me a Chaiken Scholarship for the 2017-2018 school year. I am really grateful for this award which allows me to further pursue higher education. With this award, I can pursue more extracurricular activities and interests. Coming from a working class family, I understand the value of hard work and how important it is. My family and I moved to the United States in 2006 and ever since then my parents have taught me the value of hard work in achieving success.
