Museums are always known as a number one destination that perfectly fit for a school trip. According to the official website of the Canadian Museum of History, the museum‘s mandate is to improve the knowledge of Canadian culture and history, also to educate the current young generation to have an adequate understandings and respects to the world cultures and historical events as well as the Canadian in specific. (About the Museum, 2016)

There is variety of school programs that designated to help teachers in term of providing an exclusive and unique learning experience such as different workshops, in-gallery explorations, and gallery activity sheets and lastly is guided tour. So, the promotions and unique school program would then be able to deliver efficiently to the right target market. One of the main factors that would deter schools from taking a field trip to the Museum would be the high administration cost that school or some parents could not afford to pay. I think what could have done to address this issue is school should set aside a partial of money to fund this kind of field trip. School may encourage their student to actively get involved in some sort of fund-raising activities such as selling cookies, having an auction where student’s crafts are exhibited and sold, etc. In this way, school can potentially raise some money to support the Museum field trip as well as successfully create a “harmony environment of sharing” among student. Students who have financial conditions now can be able to contribute their efforts in helping other students who could not afford to participate in a school
