Canada is one of the many founders of the UN and was crucial to growth of the organization. According to the UN, Canada was one of the founding countries and participated in countless international affairs ever since. Canada participated in peacekeeping activities, humanitarian crisis support and many other roles in cooperation with the other UN members. Canada became a world power now, dealing in world issues in the UN. Canada has also participated actively in the UNICEF and activities regarding the support of other nations along with Canadian aid.
