The information about Caffeine is important to know because when having a child there could be side affects to that child or to yourself in general. Some of the effects caffeine can cause are impaired memory and increase the risk of having seizures. It is important to know these facts because having a child you want to make sure that everything will work out for the best. Caffeine can cause just more then seizures and damage in the brain, but it is the most common side effects.

How does caffeine affect the body? This is a good question to ask yourself before consuming a lot of it. Caffeine slightly increases your blood pressure and heart rate and the amount of urine your body makes. Caffeine may cause you to feel jittery, have indigestion or have trouble sleeping. During pregnancy, you may be especially sensitive to caffeine because it may take you longer to clear it from your body than if you weren’t pregnant. …show more content…

Certain studies will argue or claim that isn’t true, but there are still the effects and could happen to anyone so it is best to limit yourself. After child birth the risk will come down because caffeine affects the brain and can cause a miscarriage, but when the baby is born and has caffeine complications the it will come down to the health of the child and will see more problems in the future.

When the child becomes older, that adult and others around him/her will start to see some memory loss in that person. Because when the adult was younger the caffeine had caused such problems in the brain affecting certain cells. It can even leave that adult at a higher risk of seizures or heart attacks.
