Recommended: Music effects on our lives

Music has various meanings for me. The meaning of music changes depending on who I am listening to, and when I am listening to the music. For example, last night I was watching Black Thought perform his amazing 10 minute freestyle rap. I decided to listen to it because I wanted to hear his flows, and remind myself of how brilliant of a wordsmith he was during that performance. His freestyle put me in awe of how intelligent, crafty, and talented he is as a musician.
I also listen to music to help me focus when I am working. I usually play chill-step music like Blackmill that helps me focus and concentrate. This type of music really helps block out the distractions and noise in my house. Finally, I listen to music with my daughter. We
