As Christian educators, there should be something that is different about us from the crowd. Whether teaching in the public or private Christian school, or colleagues, students and their parents should be able to see something considerably different about us. In order for that difference to be seen, we can integrate a biblical worldview in our content area classroom in terms of teacher-learner relationships, classroom management and behavioral issues, and creation and implementation of lessons in our area of study. In order to do this, we must hold fast to the basic truths of a loving God and reflect that in all of our relationships. An established set of fair rules and consequences needs to be made as well as follow through at all times. I automatically think to the golden rule and how much it applies to classroom management. We learn the golden rule from Kindergarten and continue to apply it but that is because it is so important. We must treat others as we wish to be treated as students and as we grow. We use it in our workplace, with our spouse and children through our day to day lives. Matthew 7:12 says “so whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also unto them.” The Lord wants us to treat each other well, in fact, this is one of our greatest commandments. An example of biblical integration in terms of biblical integration would be creating classroom rules on the first day of class and treating students with respect. If students do no treat each other with respect or me with respect, then I will need to discipline students with fair consequences. Specifically, if a student is caught bullying another student in my classroom, I would privately pull him or her out into the hall and let them know that what they did was wrong and why it was wrong. I will then encourage the student to issue an apology. I will let the student who is the bully know that if they continue to bully, a trip to the office or a phone call home will be
