What I am Grateful for

As a child, you have a lot to be grateful for. You’re grateful for your brand new shiny toys, for your silly little friends, and much for more childlike things. But, as you grow older, you begin to think of all the other wonderful, more sentimental aspects in your life that you should be grateful for. You no longer desire the childish objects that you once thought would fill your heart. Although there are many hated things in anyone's life, you should always show gratitude for the many prodigious things in your precious life. Because of this, I am grateful for several things. I have grown out of my childish views and have seen the goodness not only in my life, but in the world. I am grateful for most of the wonderful things in my life but, my church, my mother, and my friends will forever of the greatest of my gratitude. My church is my safe haven. I would do anything and everything for them because, I know they would do the same for me. Although, lucky enough, I have many friends, only a select few are the ones I know I can completely and utterly trust. These people I can happily call my best friends. They encourage me when I am sad, enlighten me when I am lonesome, and always know how to make me laugh on the days it's hard to even crack a smile. Studies show, that humans need friendship and love to survive the chaos of this world, and I believe this to be true. Life would be dull without the laughter friends bring to your life. These special people fill my heart with a joy only they themselves can emit. Even when life becomes hard to bare, I know that I will always have my absolute best friends by my side. I am so lucky to have such inspiring and beautiful beings in my hectic life.
