Balance is the key to happiness and success and studying at university will be the most crucial step that will allow me to achieve the ideal balance in my life. I have also been accepted to take part in The Sky Project. Taking into consideration that I started school in the UK at the end of year 9 I have done exceptionally well as I had a very short time learning English and adapting to the UK school system and thus passing my studies. My most pleasurable activity is keeping healthy by exercising in the gym and maintaining a healthy diet helps me to preserve a healthy lifestyle. This allows me to study more effectively as being healthy maintains a vigorous mentality. I am also part of a Friday football club. My role in this is to book a pitch and organise teams in a manner that everyone would be satisfied. The prime I have chosen Business to study at a degree level is due to the mesmerising intricacy of the business industry and interminable opportunities in the world of professional work. There are a lot of reasons why I chose to pursue pharmacy as my career and they all point to the most important reason: pharmacy is a great fit for my life and is something I have become increasingly passionate about. It started when I was researching careers with my parents and my dad suggested pharmacy and, simply put, it sparked my interest because at the time it was one of the few things I thought I would not hate doing. A healthcare career has always been where I put myself in the future, mainly because most of my family members are in the healthcare field. However, I have never been one that could directly help the wounded or deal with anything gory, but am very intrigued by the growing science of pharmacy. As I continue exploring pharmacy, the more I enjoy learning about it and feel like I could excel in this career.

Education has always been a primary concern for my parents, who taught me that if I need to succeed in life, I have to be educated. Following their guide, I have always valued and tried to get the most of any educational opportunity I have had. Having grown up in a business family, I have always been interested in focusing my career in the business field. My Mother and Father own their own company, and they are constantly talking about business, which has inspired me to follow their path. When my parents retire, they want me to carry on their legacy. For this reason, I have decided to pursue my studies in the field of Business and Leadership at Marylhurst University. To begin, the greatest accomplishment in my life to date would be when I got accepted into the Accounting and Finance program. Throughout high school, one of the few courses that I really enjoyed would be Accounting, as the concepts were things that I really enjoyed. This later influenced me to pursue to apply for a great accounting program that will help make my dream of becoming a CPA a reality. To meet the goal of getting into a world-renowned program, I knew that I had to put in 101% of hard work, dedication, and more to achieve this. Throughout my grade 12, I began to struggle mentally as I was providing my hardest effort in all my 4 courses each semester, which forced me to lose sleep and other ways to regain energy to be successful.
A good curator has the potential to shape a person’s approach to art and culture. In 2011, Andrew Bolton’s stunning presentation of fashion as art, in ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ opened my eyes to the work of a designer that would become the backbone to the majority of my undergraduate study. Aged 18, I traveled to New York where I visited the exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Four years later, when ‘Savage Beauty’ was showing once again - this time at the V&A, curated by Claire Wilcox - I wrote my dissertation on the complex relationship between art and fashion through a detailed analysis of the exhibition which gave me my biggest passion.
Finance is a field that had always fascinated me right from my undergraduate college days. What make me interested in this particular field of study are the art of finance and the complexity of investment market which would allow me to employ my personal skills, such as analytical and communication skills, along with my personal characteristics such as dedication and compassion for what I do.
