Imagine being a doctor and working all day and night to make just half of what an athlete makes. I believe that athletes are excruciatingly overpaid. It’s not nearly as hard as being a pristine doctor or highly educated lawyer, yet it makes more than double. A large portion of teens in America aspire to be professional athletes due to the unreasonable salary’s. Then they put all their time and energy into sports and have no future ahead, because they just aren’t good enough. Being a doctor and earning a heavy salary is a completely different story. Laboring away at books and boring text is a lot less entertaining and more stressful than playing sports. It’s only fair that doctors make more money. But no, athletes get to practice
