What is Gun Control? Gun Control or Regulation is a broad term that covers any sort of restriction on what kinds of firearms can be sold and bought, who can possess or sell them, where and how they can be stored or carried, what duties a seller has to vet a buyer, and what obligations both the buyer and the As of today eight states have passed laws voiding federal firearms regulations. But there are still states that have not passed these laws and that includes California. The federal government should not regulate guns because it creates more crime, affects the state, and that is up to the state.

For example first, as I stated Lori Robertson before, exclaims states with strict gun laws have the highest crime rate in the nation. Second it impacts the state economy. Majority and part of the money that the state receives comes from people who own guns and buy ammo. Advocating gun control not only affects the people but also it affects the state. Just imagine if the state is con gun control just imagine how much that will boost up the economy of that state. Best part people will not be committing crime. You know why? Because you every citizen of that state will be carrying a gun for self defense. What is the 2nd amendment? The 2nd amendment of the United States Constitution says “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Well forget about this amendment if the Federal government takes control on gun regulations. But that is going against our own rights which they don’t care about the constitution nor us. Now the 10 amendment of the United States Constitution says the balance of power between the federal government and the states. The amendment says that the federal government has only those powers specifically granted by the Constitution. Which there is no power granted to the Federal government to violate the right of us citizens. That is a decision that the people and the state should make not the federal
