Colleges are very essential and beneficial in life. If not, colleges would have not been founded in 1636. Everyone carries diverse opinions about college, whether it’s positive or negative. However, this article will help readers understand how crucial college is in reality. First of all, college is worth the money. In the article “ Actually College Is Very Much Worth It” on page 86, paragraph 5, the text states, “According to a new survey released by the Pew Research Center, only 40 percent of Americans felt that colleges provide an “excellent” or “good” value for money.” This exposes that students who attend a college consider that school is worth the money, since students were able to become successful and not waste all of college money. Second of all, students that achieve a college degree are able to accomplish a good paying job.
