Pollution: Are Humans Doing Enough to Stop It?
The sad reality is that each day the amount of pollution is increasing, while the lifespan of the earth and the health of its organisms is deteriorating.

The polluted planet will kill the population if nothing is done to prevent it (Alliteration). Our needs for technology has pushed us to this catastrophe, but our wants have made us continue this act of destruction. Organization and an organization known as Do Something, state that millions of people are affected worldwide by pollution (Burgess), (Do Something) (Fact).

Reducing pollution is important for the socio-economic well-being of Canadians and the rest of the world. Pollution is very well responsible for making people ill and in turn debilitating them from doing work. This will and has already increased health care costs, and decreased the amount earned by the workforce because many have to take a sick leave. For example, the Ontario Medical Association has stated that air pollution is responsible for costing $1 billion each year in medical expenses such as hospital admissions and absenteeism (Example). Therefore, if everyone does his/her part in reducing pollution, worker productivity will be improved, industries will improve because their productive magnitude will increase and in general, a lot of money will be saved (Canada and
