Today I will be talking about Anne Frank, Elvis Presley, and Derek Redmond. I will talk about how they did not give up and their perseverance and did not give up.
In this paragraph I will talk about Anne Frank. Anne Frank's life was bad most of the time, but before the Holocaust started her life was good she had friends went to school and could go outside. When the Holocaust started Anne and her family went into hiding. That is when her life started to turn around for the worse. Thin when the invasion started they became excited. A little after the invasion started they got caught and sent to concentration camps.
Elvis Presley was the king of rock and roll. My favorite quote from him is Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine.
Jews. He took it upon himself and Miep to give the two families in hiding
Anne Frank was my age, 15, when she was murdered by Nazis during World War II. I can’t even fathom what she must have gone through in the months before her death. Through her diary, one can understand the hardships of the Jewish people in Nazi Germany occupied countries
In the events that happened during the holocaust were very graphic and very displeasing to lots of families. One of those families were Anne Frank’s family. In the research paper you are going to see what it was like for Anne Frank’s family. The general information, when and where they were hiding, and how they all died during the holocaust, will all be stated in the paper.
Have you ever read the play “The Diary of Anne Frank?” She wrote in a book during the Holocaust. She hid in a place called the “Secret Annex” Mr. Kraler was the man who let the Franks and Van Daans stay in his attic. The theme was “Which characters contribute to them theme people are good at heart.” In the play “ The diary of Anne Frank”, the theme people are good at heart is developed through the characters Miep Gies, Mr.Kraler, and Anne Frank.
The World War II was a big holocaust, lots of people died. World War II was started by Adolf Hitler, he was the dictator of Germany, also a Nazi. The Nazis ruled German through totalitarian means from 1933 to 1945. Although World War II didn’t last very long, but over 16,000,000 people died. This is a very sad memories for all the people in the world. So today, I will present the tolerance during the holocaust.
Today you probably hear that almost, hopefully everybody, thinks Adolf Hitler is an evil man. Hitler was an evil man, because he made many lives miserable by killing millions of people during the Holocaust.
Sina Salemian Salemian 1 HS English 2;Period 3 Ms.Matthews January 10, 2014 Anne Frank During The Holocaust Anne Frank is a strong young girl that lived during the Holocaust in Amsterdam, Germany. She lived in a very bad time during the Holocaust, where she either had to hide or go to a concentration camp. Anne Frank is a normal girl that should be going to school and not be in hiding from the Nazis and should not have to take the sacrifices of having no friends, no ability to be free and to express her religion. I consider Anne a hero because of all the dedication to staying free and not having to be under a dictatorship.
“I Want to be useful or bring enjoyment to all people even those who I’ve never met, I want to go on living even after my death!” (from a Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank). This quote has a lot of meaning because she wanted to be remembered and I am now writing and telling about her eighty one years later. Anne Frank is a hero because she was a spirited young Jewish girl that had to go into hiding at the age of thirteen.
Many of us have a dream in life to be remembered by all for something great. It’s a lofty goal that only few have, or ever will achieve. Elvis Presley was one of the few people in our American history that achieved this status. Known as “The King of Rock and Roll”, his achievements have influenced our country like none of its precedents. This paper will explain Elvis Presley’s life, his death, and his profound influence after life.
“There's only one rule you need to remember: laugh at everything and forget everybody else! It sound egotistical, but it's actually the only cure for those suffering from self-pity.” (Frank 321) Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl who went into hiding during World War II to avoid being captured by the Nazis. She and seven other people had to hide in a secret annex Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. Anne received a diary on her 13th birthday and wrote about all the little things that had happened to her throughout the day.
A life in darkness is probably something that could describe Anne Frank’s life. As I dove deeper into the pit of fire known as the holocaust I realized many things. One, Hitler was a deranged maniac. Two, the Jewish community will probably never recover from those horrific events. Finally, I learned that despite everything that happened, Anne still saw the good in the world. "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." This was one of the last things written in Anne's diary. Even though those grievous events took place somehow Anne Frank still saw that people still had good in them even the Nazis.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live during World War 2? Life during World War 2 was torture if you were jewish, especially if you were a kid. Felix Salingar from Then by Morris Gleitzman and Anne Frank both knew what it was like. Their stories both describe the lives of jewish children hiding from the Nazis, in fear of being taken and killed. Throughout both of their stories, many character traits were discovered about them that show how they are similarly affected by the events in their stories. Anne Frank and Felix Salingar have many similarities, some of which stand out more than others.
“Then suddenly Peter grabs her awkwardly in his arms, kissing her on the cheek.” Anne Frank and Peter Van Daan mature as the play The Diary of Anne Frank documents their lives from when they go into hiding to their deaths. Anne (ages 13-15) and Peter (ages 15-18) both experience many changes, physically. mentally, and spiritually, as they grow closer to each other. On this topic Anne says, “There is one great change, however. A change in myself.” (Act II, Scene I, Page 600)
Anne Frank, Jeanne Wakatsuki and Elie Wiesel all are greatly affected by the war, but in different milieus and in different scenarios. Anne Frank was a 13-year-old Jewish girl who was thrown into one of the worst periods in the history of the world: the Holocaust. Though she went through awful things that many people will never experience, she always kept the faith that there was still some good in everyone. She once said, “Despite everything, I still believe people are truly good at heart.” Her diary, which she kept while her family was in hiding from the Nazis, shows the triumph of her spirit over the evil in the world even through the pain of adolescence.
" 'How can I join such a club?' I icily asked. 'Look at what the
