However, one issue of why livestock workers are unable to perform healthy and effectively is due to the system management. The basic trainings for animal livestock workers does not teach and focus on the care for animals but security for the workers themselves. No, there is no perfect behavior that is expected from someone who kill animals on a daily basis. However, what is expected are for workers to pay attention to the provided details in order to maintain a stable working environment for all. The act of killing animals for food production does not please many but even so, animals should be treated equally and with respect because of their benefits for human survival. It is crucial to pay attention despite of perfect behavior or not. “It’s attention to small details that makes you or breaks you. If you don’t pay attention to the small details, they can turn into large problems,” (Brackett). Brackett is a farmer who understands and motivates his livestock workers to perform their job well and being attentive to details. Although animals are not capable of advocating for themselves, they should be treated equally due to their beneficial utilities that helps us human function as a society. Despite their beneficial utilities, they also feel a complexity of emotions and rather prefer pleasure over pain like us. Due to animal and human emotion similarities, they deserve to be treated equally and not be abuse or neglected by the lack of trained workers. In order for an animal livestock worker to perform without physical force, they need to be adequately trained to learn and understand the pros and cons of animal needs. Also, livestock workers should understand the levels of education since meeting basic education does not justify why one should work in the animal industry as it is complicated physically and mentally. Lastly, the system of trainings for animal livestock workers should not be for self protection and security but how to understand, lead and direct animals in ethical ways. There will be good and bad times when working with animals but if one is well aware and knowledgeable, the outcome will be pleasant.
