Android MOS
Android is now the best operating system. And it is run on Linux V2.6 kernel. Initially,
Android was developed for the digital cameras, then it was mobile-phones, including smart phones and tablets.
Android platform is the developed by Open Handset Alliance, a team of organizations to develop better mobile phones. Google leads this team. And it involves mobile operators like T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel, device handset manufacturers Samsung, Sony and HTC, component manufacturers like Qualcomm and Texas Instruments, software solution and platform providers, and many marketing companies.
HTC dream was first android based device introduced in the market. As the HTC
Dreams releasing date arrived, the android group released SDK V1.0 and applications stared to develop for android platform. for the development of android market, google sponsered Android Developer Chal- lenges, which encouraged people to develop applications. A few months later the HTC
Dream released their smart-phone, the Android Market was released. That allowed users to download applications to phones.

Android’s features are very rich. Therefore that would have been easy task to confuse it with other computer operating system.
The UI subsystem involves:
- Windows
- Views
- Widgets
Android include a browser that is developed upon WebKit, same as iphone’s safari browser. Android also features WiFi, wireless data, bluetooth e.g. GPRS, 3G and newly available 4G.
Android applications supports Google Maps.and is also supports for global position system i.e GPS. There is also camera support.

Parse technique
The Parse platform provides the complete back-end for your mobile application. There is no need of writing server code or maintaining the servers. One can save the database on parse cloud and then it can be retrieved as well.
Push notifications are used to notify each user by pushing. In Push, parse library is used. The Parse library provides push notifications using Google Cloud Messaging
(GCM). On devices that do not support GCM, Parse will use a background service that maintains a persistent connection to the Parse cloud to deliver pushes. This allows Parse
Push to work on all devices running Android 2.2 or higher.
There are two ways to send push notifications using parse:-
Channels:- Channels offer a simple and easy to use model for sending pushes. advanced tar-getting:- advanced targeting offers a more powerful and flexible model.
