Were Jews The Only Ones The Nazis Were After In The Holocaust?
There is a lot of things that are unknown about the Holocaust. All people have heard is how Jews were affected and how millions got killed. Although this is true they are not the only ones being affected. Some others that were affected were Christians, Jews, Homosexuals, and even the disabled. There were not as many affected as the Jews were but we should still give them just as much attention as all the Jews have.
They were affected in many way, to start out, the Jews were being killed from many things such as concentration camps, unhealthy living environments and for just no reason. Of the eleven million people killed during the Holocaust, six million were polish citizens, three million were Polish Jews and another three million were polish Christians. Most of the people that were left were from other countries. Hitler was a very cruel man to kill eleven million Jews. When Hitler wanted to kill the Jews, Christians, homosexuals, and the disabled he would make sure they get the worst most suffering death possible. They arrested thousands of members of Christianity even the Catholic priests. “it is important to remember that, despite the terrifying dangers of helping Jews during the war, there were many, many Christians who risked their lives and many who suffered death for trying to help. There was an effort in every town, in every countryside that I have been able to study or read about.
