Community Project the American Red Cross The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors along with Occupational Therapy’s use of assessment and intervention to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations, of individuals, groups, or communities that have been disrupted. The vision, of the American Red Cross is seen through its strong network of volunteers, donors, partners, and Occupational Therapists, whom are always there in times of need. The 6 COTAs, 3 PRN need will have knowledge of advocacy, assessments skills, the ability to apply the principles of occupation in the community and educate clients on activities, occupation and safety. Four nurses to manage care, ensures that the care given to a patient is cohesive, teach, and assists the patients to understand the treatments, medications, their health and procedures. Three Psychologist, 1 PRN, to observe, interpret, and record an individual’s normal and abnormal mental states from cognitive, emotional, social processes and behavior. Three recreational therapists to help people with disabilities integrate into the community by teaching them how to use community resources and recreational activities. One office Manager to handle customer relations, payroll, maintaining office supply inventories, creating sales reports, internal correspondence and work schedules. Two receptionists to answer incoming calls, make appointments, data processing, and sending calls to appropriate departments. When gathering evaluation information, it should start from the beginning of the initial planning. It should throughout the life of the program, so the program can continue to adjust changing or add program elements to enhance the outcomes, and to generate new ideas. The method used to get information for the evaluation will be evaluation questions that will lead to further action such as program improvement, program mainstream, or program redesign. The evaluation information will be shared with the funding agency, partners, volunteers, organizations, the Council/Board of Directors, department heads, staff, the program team, and the program participants or target
