Pursuing this Aerospace Engineering course will not only lead me towards a thriving career. I am confident that it will change my personality, and change the way I think, behave and perceive the world around me. I interact often with people that have a career in the field and I am convinced that in the process of completing these modules my overall thinking skills and my wisdom will improve . Partaking in a variety of activities and exploring new experiences is a necessity for me, even when it isn't directly related to what I am studying. A great example would be one of my work experience weeks which was in a hospital. Even though I was completely surrounded by students who wanted to enter the medical field, I still found a way to relate what I was exploring to engineering. Skills such as time management, technical expertise and professionalism where scrutinized. These skills have been applied to both my personal/school life and have been developing ever since. I chose to get the experience in a hospital because I strongly adhere to the idea of disruptive thinking which I believe is an essence to engineering that is commonly unappreciated by students. In those years, I have made a lot of progress that lead me to become an Instructor-Assistant. I have solved many problems in these challenging years and I see my self-esteem rise every time I submerge under the sea water. An unforgotten impediment that I faced was that I was surrounded by mates who were from a completely different age group,I felt unfit both physically and socially compared to the people around me. Being who I am, I started to socialize more and eventually felt comfortable around them. In actual fact, I took the advantage of this rare experience to observe what people at the age of twenty and thirty are like and I took on some of their clever habits into my own
