What is an aeronautical engineer:
Aeronautical engineering is also known as aerospace engineering. This is a complex, rapidly changing field. In 1958 the 1st definition of aerospace engineering appeared. The 1st sketches of flight vehicles were drew by the famous Leonardo da Vinci. In 1983, manned flight was 1st achieved. The 1st breakthrough was by Sir George Cayley when he 1st drew an airplane incorporating a fixed wing for lift. Cayley then turned to gliders and built the 1st successful one in 1849. Gliding flights established a data base for aerodynamics and aircraft design. Otto Lilienthal, a German scientist record more than 2000 glides in a five-year period, beginning in 1981. The Wright brothers then refined their own design, eventually selling airplanes to the U.S Army. That was the beginning in aerospace engineering.

Education needed to become an aeronautical engineer:
An aeronautical engineer typically has a bachelor’s degree, this degree is the minimum. It doesn't matter if you have a degree better than a bachelor's you can obtain masters and doctoral degrees, which is what most job places are looking for.. You will need to take two examinations for four years of credit, which is around two hundred forty credits. One credit is equivalent to a study load of 25-30 hours. Some good colleges for aeronautical engineering are the California Institute of Technology, which is the number one aeronautical college. The next schools of the top five colleges are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, University of Michigan Ann Harbor, and finally Georgia Institute of Technology.

Employment opportunities:

How aeronautical engineering has had an impact on the world:
Aeronautical engineering has a big impact on the world because it changed transportation. Now people if they have to go a long distance they will just book they're flight. Aeronautical engineering also changed space travel. We would have never been to the moon and back without aeronautical and aerospace engineering.

Positive and negative impacts on our society (social, political, or economic changes that have resulted) Some positive and negative effects in aeronautical engineering is a negative is that the aeronautical engineering costs quite a lot in government fees for funding in research in new aeronautical engineering. A positive is that they are changing transportation like space crafts, the mars rover, airplanes and so many more.
