Achievement High Grades Have you ever thought about how you con achievement high grades? In general, all students whatever their level hope to pass all their classes and get high grades. Actually, there are a lot of steps that you can follow them to be successful in your classes , and they depend on students' abilities. Achievement First (AF) is a charter network that began its work at a single charter middle school in New Haven, CT in 1998. In 2003, the founders created a 501(c) non-profit: Achievement First with the intention of having a broader impact on learning that just one middle school intended to serve students in grades 5-8: Amistad Academy. Mrs. Kassandra Johnson is the founder of Good Grades Activity Center, which has been operational for over the last five years. The afterschool program takes place in the basement of The Holy Cross Church. The session runs from Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Good Grades Activity Center is located in Maspeth and the students are of Polish descent. The majority of the students in the classroom come from middle class families. In the classroom, students range from kindergarten to grade five and are provided with instruction that is aligned to their curriculum. In the afterschool program, there are fifteen students, five girls and ten boys who attend regularly. With the incorporation of small learning communities (SLCs) or freshman academies, there are other areas of importance needing change in addressing the problems of high dropout rates and the achievement gap. Important areas in need of change includes how we assess our students, preparation of America’s teachers, and development of appropriate curricular materials, policies, and practices for diverse students.

If high school students can’t find the time to keep their grades up or to keep a certain GPA, they should not be allowed to play sports. Students need to prove themselves to be able to play any sport and still be able to do well in school. Also, having good grades shows the coach maturity and may earn them more playing time if they are working hard in school and in practice.
