How to Be an Outstanding Student

There are many rules to being an outstanding student. It all comes from the effort and understanding of the student in the course or class. The student does not have to have a specific talent or such to be able to achieve this level. He or she should remember that practice makes perfect and that the first try is not always the best. In order to be an outstanding student, he or she must turn in their work on time, follow directions correctly, and always puts their time and effort in their work.
The first rule to become an outstanding student is to turn in their work on time. When the student turns in their work on time, he or she makes it more possible to not lose any points and to ensure that they will get all points accordingly. If the work is turned in late, the teacher or instructor will most likely either not accept the work or deduct points as a result of being turned in late. Also, turning in the work early or on time allows the teacher to grade the work in a timely manner. If a student does not turn in the work on time, the grading will be delayed and may cause a lot of other unintended things. If the student does not follow directions, then he or she will most likely do something incorrectly. He or she might also have some misunderstandings in the future because of the lack of following directions. For example, if the teacher or instructor has written down how to do a science experiment and the student does not follow it correctly, then the results will come out wrong and will affect the student in the future by his or her understanding and grade of the work accomplished.
