We cannot arbitrarily deprive the rights from them. There is also a special case about early knowing that the fetus will be disable or woman being raped, so should we kill them? Are they having future value too? Or what if the fetus is risk mother’s life? It’s hard to answer those questions, if woman knowing that doing sex might be pregnant, and get pregnant, its woman’s responsibility, so that abortion is not permissible.
A difficult problem today is trying to that prove rape occurred and that it was not consensual. There should be some type of system to regulate that issue. Everyone that wanted an abortion could say they have been raped and get one, there needs to be a system to prevent that. Also, if a woman carrying a child is getting very sick or unhealthy because of the pregnancy the option of abortion should be available to her. It would be better to save one life than possibly lose both.
Human beings don’t have the right to decide if someone lives or dies. Abortion is the same thing, killing a person. Some people believe that it’s okay to have an abortion because of certain situations some women may be in. For example, they were raped. It is understand that a person wouldn’t want to have a baby with someone that forced them to have sex with them, but again, they should just give birth to the baby, and if they decide that they don’t want to keep it, put it up for adoption.
Abortion should be legal in case the mothers' life is at risk. If giving birth to the baby would kill the mother, then having an abortion is the best solution. This especially true if the mother already has children because the loss of their mother would be awful. A motherless baby would also be sad. If a pregnant woman is diagnosed with cancer, she can wait until she has given birth before she starts the treatment.
7 Abortions are unjustified and are not fair to the unborn child. Every person should have the right to live, and abortions do not protect these rights for the child. Some would claim “It's my choice.” or “It's my body.”, but that is completely incorrect. A baby inside of a woman is a separate human being, and therefore has its own rights. If one does not want a child, they should prevent conception from happening, not kill an innocent baby.
This can be unruly to witness as the tissues are discarded afterwards. In addition to aborting the child, the woman would have feelings of regret and they have the tendency to commit suicide more than a woman if she was suffering from post-mortem depression. The court case of “Roe vs Wade” legalizes abortion allowing more rights for the women but pro-life supporters argue that it counters the argument that all living things have their natural right protected. This right does not extend to the fetus and that is what pro-life supporters want to change. Abortion should not be legal as it violates the natural right of the unborn, can be considered murder and meddles with the morals and values of
According to Andrew Napolitano who wrote about abortion, “a society that prefers death to life, not only cannot prosper: in cannot survive. The baby in the womb is a person” (“Is Rape Moral”).The point thrown out here is pretty plain to see. If our society as a whole prefers to kill people, not only people but children, because they don’t want to give birth to them, which is pretty selfish by the way, how can we fully prosper? The practice of abortion in
Abortion: A Controversial Issue One of the major controversial issues confronting the society today is abortion. I choose abortion as the topic of discussion since it contradicts my values and beliefs. Abortion is the extraction of the human fetus from the mother’s womb with an intention to end the life of that fetus prior to its natural birth. The controversy surrounding abortion is whether it should be legalized or not? In my opinion, abortion is morally and ethically wrong because it leads to violation of human rights.
Beyond doubt, abortion is a wrong practice that punishes the unborn child who hasn’t committed a crime; in its place, it is the perpetrator who should be punished for murdering a human being indifferently, that must be considered as a first degree murder. The fact that abortion occurs is not a motive to authorize it. Wrongdoings such as homicide, rape and domestic violence occur daily and cannot be totally prevented, but that is not a reason to legalize them or to allow them to happen in a “clean” environment. As mother Teresa said, “We cannot fight credibly against other social and moral evils, including poverty and violence, while we tolerate mass killings by abortion”.
Pro-life activists would strongly object, and believe an abortion is killing a human and under no reason should a defenseless life be taken. They also believe that even in instances of rape a woman should not abort because it is the fetus you are punishing instead of the rapist. My response to that is, why should the mother be punished for being physically violated resulting in an unwanted pregnancy? If she chooses to have an abortion, which would be in the first trimester, the fetus cannot survive outside of her body; therefore, should not be considered a separate
