I strive to be a mindful educational leader who can shape a safe and supportive environment that cultivates an inclusive culture based on relationships built on trust, mutual respect, and commitment to learning among all stakeholders.

Meaning - I am passionate about developing a school culture that is inclusive of all members, regardless of race, creed, gender, religion, abilities, socio-economic status in all aspects of the community.
No two individuals are the same, and it is in those differences bonds and relationships are built
Nurturing a trusting relationship strengthens safety and the willingness to take risks needed for higher learning to occur
If I ever feel I have learned all there is to know; it is time to stop working in education; because I will have lost my passion.

Presence -As anxiety is living in the future and depression is living in the past, mindfulness is living centered and focus on the moment.
Being mindful in all situations and at all times is not possible, necessary and in some cases productive. Select the times to be reflective, on automatic pilot or daydreaming.
Whenever possible, center before starting each day, and each meaningful task; take a moment to be mindfulness and focus. `
I recognize that everyone makes judgments, and to be sincerely present I must push away my assumptions and focus on what I see, hear and feel - I must remain objective.
Practice - Focusing only on the results and a job will get completed, exploring the path that leads to the goal will increase knowledge, opportunities, and better outcomes.
Practicing mindfulness helps me to spend more time on the important task and less on the mundane.
When I practice not making assumptions, I can build stronger relationships and be a better leader.
I practice believing in best intentions and accepting all people where they are; this helps me cultivate an atmosphere of mutual
