Literary Analysis - The Outsiders Have you ever worried about children you know being in a gang? The Outsiders is a book by S.E. Hinton from the perspective of a fourteen year old boy named Ponyboy. It illustrates two weeks in his life that changed him forever, really though this kids weeks were insane, in the book you see his hardships, his struggles, and his successes, also the fact that really a lot of the book is based around “Nothing gold can stay.” the poem by Robert Frost is super cool. Although it is intense i think it was a really good read, the book was interesting, raised good points, and really opened up your eyes to the life greaser. Now on to the theme, honestly it was pretty hard to choose but eventually i went with friends are a person’s most valuable possessions.
