What is cyber security well the best way I can describe it is you help businesses and companies with internet problems such as Hacking, or just anything you don’t want people to get a hold of like personal information. The reasoning I want to go into the field of cyber security is because I want to stop people that mess up my life and other peoples for no reason at all and it’s a growing problem since we have so much more technology now a days. From smart television to cellphone and social media accounts all are vulnerable and people to constantly watch for problems. Let me tell you a little about what you can expect going into the degree of cyber security.
Some of the majors that I can chose from that are related to the field of cyber security. Networking and web design almost all the things that go into cyber security are helpful for other majors. The most known job for the field is a web developer or administrator the other most known one is a software developer. The web developer makes websites and manages them for a client and they maintain and re code the websites when needs to see if these problems with them. The higher management in cyber security usually have a master’s degree in their major or education equivalent to it. Lastly, some people do continue their education further by obtaining a PHD in their field of study. These people are usually the people that are either professors, head of research and development for technological companies, or are leaders in the field. However, just because a person has a higher degree of education does not mean that they will get a job easier. This is usually because there is more competition in that part of the field. It could also be that they are over qualified for that job and the company could pay someone less that has a lesser degree, but they still do the same
What I know is there are a large number of different fields computers offer. Almost everything we do or see has some sort of computer use around us all the time. Stores like to use computer software for registers and doors triggered by sensors. Most schools offer classes online and my daughter who is in the third grade does most of her school homework online. I know they rely on computers for aerospace jobs such as, exploring space and planets with robotics. I know that I see people on cell phone everywhere I go. Computer engineers need to be able to think logically, communicate ideas clearly, and work well in a team environment. To become a computer engineer a degree in computer science, engineering, or physics is required. Computer engineers spend an extended amount of time typing. A computer engineer should also expect to work long hours and enjoy working with new ideas and concepts. Becoming a proficient typist would be something to consider when a person is interested in becoming a computer engineer.

A Computer Science degree is the most common degree among Software Engineers. It’s the most common because it covers a broad range of topics that Software Engineers need to know for this occupation (U.S. Department of Labor 1). Software Engineer’s need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science to get hired by companies. Even though Computer Science is the most common degree Software Engineer’s have, there are also other subjects that they major in (U.S. Department of Labor 1).
