Most workplaces and educational facilities face a severe problem of cyber bullying through social media. Students and workers use it to vent out anger and make complains about why their lives are messed up and wrong. In a recent post on the Book market, a student put up her paper regarding a teacher’s comment. The professor wrote “this paper is still too ASIAN.” This invoked allot of support on both sides leading to personal attack. As a person in the same class and read the paper, I can say that the paper was sometimes worded oddly but the professor could have worded it in a better way. That’s one of the challenges organizations faces when dealing with online interactions. It is difficult to find out the truth or the course of events that actually happened. Proven through statistics that eye witness statements are unreliable and sometimes people are oversensitive to certain topics. I only use Facebook to chat with some friends and discuss homework. At most I would use it to feign interest in certain people. I do not post anything on my account. No status posts or pictures. I only use my account to create hangouts with friends and other social aspects. I take this approach because it is simpler. There is nothing that affects me on social media and I don’t affect anyone else. It’s a win-win situation. On a side note cyber bullying and complain is an everyday thing. As long as technology innovates itself so will ways of bullying. That is one problem that can’t be removed but can be limited. Another reason I take this approach is that I don’t like to be bothered in real life by my phone. I’m old school where I don’t stick to my phone all day. Having one account feels like hassle. If I were to have Tumblr and twitter, I would definitely never take my phone out of the
