There are many religious groups throughout the world and the three largest religious groups are Christianity, Islam, and Nonreligious people who claim no religion at all. Under these three religions are other religions that basically having the same belief, but their belief may differ slightly. They all worship God, but in their own way, each having their own belief of salvation of how man is saved. What do these three major beliefs teach concerning salvation? Do they teach or practice the ways of salvation? Salvation in the biblical term is the assurance of an afterlife with Jesus Christ. Church attendance is slowly dwindling in all the churches, even in your megachurches and the Word of God is not being sought as it should. Without the basic knowledge of “what is sin”, “who commits sin”, “where does sin come from”, and how to get rid of sin” it is resulting in much dishonor among people and rebellion against God. People are continuing to live secular lives living without basic biblical principles. People are continually seeking those things when that leads them further and further away from a Christian life and they should be seeking spiritual guidance. The Bible can and will educate you on all types of self-helps, psychology, geography, philosophy, love, prosperity, etc. One Book does it all except make you read. Yes, there are things that clergy should set up to attract people to the Word and the Word should be presented accordingly and sought out by all. It started in a small town community and just spread worldwide. Along the way, it picked up intellectuals who would interpret the Word of God and influence others to follow, be it right or wrong. Each of the groups settling in various parts of the new United States and there grew a philosophy of the Word. This is evidence of the many different religions and religious wars. The religious people have their problems and the non-religious which as a whole are termed, secularist have their problems. These are those that are only concerned with the material ways of the world as it is now and how they can best capitalize on it. Nevertheless, secularism started with the churches, it does not end there. All matters of the world are acted upon and decided upon and are based on human consciousness and reasoning. In the past, the churches were responsible for basic family needs, but the laws provided very little funding, due to the separation of church and state. The government determined what organization would receive funding and has now taken over this assistance. That took away the need for people to go to the churches for help let alone to pray. Governmental decisions are made concerning society as a whole in which the citizens are given an issue on which to decide and vote on and that decision is based on a majority ruling.
