Porsche's Evolution
Who was Ferdinand Porsche? He was a engineer and founder of the Porsche car company. Ferdinand Porsche became Technical Director and member of the Board of Management of Daimler Motor Company in Stuttgart, Germany. Sports cars likes the Mercedes were under his direction. His achievements were rewarded in later on, when the Stuttgart Institute of Technology awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in Engineering. Later he worked for Daimler house in Germany, together with Benz.
He founded his own design company in Stuttgart, and in 1934, he designed with his son the rear engine car that was to become the famous Volkswagen Beetle. He is best known for creating the first gasoline electric hybrid vehicle, the Volkswagen Beetle, the Mercedez Benz several other important developments and Porsche automobiles. In addition, Porsche designed the 1923 Benz, which was the first racecar with a mid engine, rear wheel drive layout. Ferdinand Porsche’s team took until 1938 to finalize the design Volkswagen Beetles which was an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen from 1938 until 2003, were formulated by Adolf Hitler, leader of Nazi Germany, wishing for a cheap, simple car to be mass produced. On the night of April 14th, 1865, at around 10:15 P.M., John Wilkes Booth, who was a famous actor and was also on the side of the Confederacy, sneaked into Ford’s Theater and assassinated Abraham Lincoln only five days after the end of the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln was only 56 years old, and he was the first president to be assassinated. Samuel Arnold, George Atzerodt, David Herold, Michael O’Laughlen, Lewis Powell, and John Surratt were intended to help him with their original plan of kidnapping the president, but that plan was abandoned because President Lincoln never showed up to the Campbell Military Hospital, where he was meant to see a play. John Surratt’s mother, Mary Surratt, provided the men with a place to stay and moved to Washington D.C., and eventually Mary Surratt would be found guilty of assistance in the crime and executed, becoming the first woman to be put to death by the government.
Henry Ford, the man who revolutionized the car industry forever, founded his company under the beliefs that a car wasn’t a high-speed toy for the rich but instead a sturdy vehicle for everyday family needs, like driving to work, getting groceries or driving to church. However, Henry ford did much more than just this feat. He also tried to make peace in WWI before America had joined the war. In addition, Ford made the radical new five dollars a day payment. However, Ford also had his lows. At an early age, his mother died. His first two companies had also been failures. Against many of his closest friends protests, he published an anti-semitic (Jewish) newspaper. Ford had a very interesting and unique life and he changed the automotive industry forever.
Henry Ford was a genius in many aspects of our everyday life. He changed industry, production, and everybody's lifestyle. Many people know about him inventing some of the first automobiles, but what came out of it for America was a new encouragement for technology and an easier lifestyle for the average American replacing the popular railroad system.

Booth's co-conspirators were Lewis Powell and David Herold. They were assigned to kill William H. Seward. George Atzerodt was supposed to kill Vice President Andrew Johnson.

He examined internal combustion engines and gasoline buggy ideas eventually resulting in removing himself from Edison’s company and his introduction in the emerging automobile industry. Following in 1903, he established the Ford Motor Company, which expeditiously became a leader in the automotive industry and would gain extensive wealth within only a few decades. Henry Ford was a great entrepreneur, who changed the way the world travelled, manufactured goods and enjoyed their leisure time. He bridged the gap between consumer and automobile, bettering the industry and world economy. He didn’t invent the automobile he just made it affordable for the average family through his moving assembly line that is still being used today to manufacture all things from household electronics to toys.

Born July 30, 1863 in Dearborn, Michigan, Henry Ford was the first child of William and Mary Ford. As a young man he became an excellent self-taught mechanic and machinist. At age 16 he left the farm and went to nearby Detroit, a city that was becoming an industrial giant. There he worked as an apprentice at a machine shop, while months later he would begin work with steam engines at the Detroit Dry Dock Co., where he first saw the internal combustion engine, the kind of engine he would later use to make his automobiles.
Porsche is always a want to consumers because they have the mind of concept that owning Porsche is meant for upper social class and it could bring them to a higher status as the value is high. Therefore, the Porsche 914 and 944 models were out in the market in 1970s and 1980s to attract consumers from different social classes who could not afford a traditional Porsche model. At that time, consumers bought the 914 and 944 models to satisfy their needs and wants because they wanted the image of the brand. It also boost their confidence and low self-esteem while being associated with upper social classes.

Its BMW automobile range encompasses the 1 Series, including three-door, five-door, coupe and convertible models; the 3 Series, including sedan, touring, coupe and convertible models; the brand new 4 series, featuring an only coupe design; the 5 Series, available in sedan and touring models; the 6 Series, available as a coupe or convertible; the 7 Series large sedan; the Z4 roadster and coupe; the sports utility vehicles, X3, X5 and X6 and M models, such as M3, M5 and M6. It has producing, assembly, service and sales subsidiaries throughout the world. For the sake of this project, I will be focusing on BMW’s automobile range mentioned above but specifically the 3 series line. The BMW 3 series proves to be the most profitable line due to its relatively low cost and affordability whilst featuring the thrill and power of a German engineered vehicle.
