Abortion has existed in almost every society and was legal under Roman law back in the day, which also was accepted as a crime of killing a child within a year of birth. Today, almost two-thirds of the women in the world may get a legal abortion. Since the legalization of abortion in the 1973, over 57 million unborn children have been killed, more than the entire population. That is like 155 babies per hour.
Mental health is a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being. It affects how people think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how people handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Women who go through abortion may get suicidal ideas. Suicide attempts appear to be non stop among post-abortion teenagers. Many other studies have also seen higher rates of suicide and suicide attempts associated with abortion. Women may experience abortion as a really bad event for several reasons.
