If you are going to a party or out to dinner with friends, eat something healthy and filling before you go. If you are not hungry, you are less likely to order or eat something that you shouldn't.
If you are going to a party, sit or stand as far away from the food as possible. If you don't see the food, you are less likely to cheat.

If you stay up late, as I do, you are most likely going to be looking for a snack. Prepare in advance for those occasions.
