Can you believe that the world puts out more than 2.4 million pounds of carbon dioxide a second! Over the past few decades, our society has been consuming massive amount of fossil fuels and our carbon footprint has been increasing rapidly. Our carbon footprint is the amount of greenhouse gases that we are releasing into our atmosphere that is contributing to Global Warming.
I feel our society needs to be more knowledgeable about energy usage, fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions. It’s a very serious issue that everyone needs to be concerned about and take action to reduce. I think that people can be conscious about their energy use and fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions, but are not aware of the choices they can make. Additionally, people are discouraged and disregarding the fact they can make a difference in their impact (carbon footprint). As well, the government and businesses need to get involved in lowering the prices on eco-friendly and energy efficient products or offering incentives to encourage people to buy eco-friendly and energy efficient products. People would not only be saving money, but also conserving energy. It’s not the only individuals that need to take consideration into their fossil fuel consumption and carbon emissions, but big businesses and manufacturing are large contributors to the problem of carbon emissions and environmental destruction, and what kind of impact they are having on the earth.
In other words, once we become more aware of what can be done and are more responsible for following through with eco-conscience decisions and actions, we can significantly reduce our carbon (emissions) impact on our world.

People need to be more perceptive in the effects of carbon emissions and the consequence, and what possible alterations they can accomplish. In contrast, government and companies need to work together to get the people engaged in reducing their impact on the world. It’s not just what can be done, it’s the solutions and the revolutions that we can cause make to make the next generation a better one. In alternative words, once we tend to become additionally tuned in to what needs be done and are well-versed, we can follow through with eco-conscience selections and actions, we will considerably scale back our carbon (emissions) impact on the earth.
Rather than worry too much about emissions, we should accept the world is going to get warmer anyway and adapt to global warming by building better flood defenses and developing drought resistant crops.

The reasoning for testing the two salsa were to find if the salsa would cause a rise in body temperature after eating the salsa. My main hypothesis was, Spicy foods cause these symptoms because it raises your body temperature, and the backup hypothesis was spicy foods cause these symptoms because of a chemical reaction. My prediction if my main hypothesis is true, if we eat spicy food, then our body temperature will rise, and for the null hypothesis prediction, if we eat spicy food, then our body temperature will not rise. Further education and research are critical components in an effort to become more sustainable. A person’s carbon footprint is the sum of all emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), which were induced by an individual’s daily activities for a given time frame. However this natural balance is disrupted by human activity. People of the world are putting more than 5.5 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. 75% of this is caused from the burning of fossil fuels. These fuels are burnt all the time to run factories, power plants and vehicles. The main sources of CO2 emissions are electric utilities, residential buildings, industry and transportation. The other 25% is induced by the destruction of the world's forests. The reason for this is that there are less trees and plants to take in the CO2 but there is just as many, if not more, humans and animals to breathe it out.
