There are 16 personality types. I happen to be ISFJ; introverted, sensing, feeling, and judging. I am very aware of my surroundings and tend to seek security in relationships and occupations. I will learn that my values and beliefs influence day-to-day activities as well as my decisions and how they affect other people. We have to pay careful attention to how we react and what we let influence us because as an ISFJ, we let feelings trump over reason. I must figure out how to make the right choice even if other people don’t like it. I cannot let emotion overcome logic. Keywords: introverted, sensing, feeling, judging, protector, expressions The Myers-Briggs Personality Test gave myself ISFJ. “I” stands for introverted, “S” stands for sensing, “F” is for feeling, and the “J” is for judging. I am “introverted sensing with extraverted feeling”(The Four Personality Temperaments, n.d.). My two letter temperament is SJ-“The Guardians” and my objective would be security seeking. I am a feeler and tend to go out of my way to help others even at the expense of my own feelings. According to The Four Personality Temperaments (n.d.), I don’t think anyone cares about what I want but I have trouble expressing it. We also tend to make decisions based on how the reciprocating person would feel and tend to make decisions heavily based on feelings. I would buy something because I like it not necessarily because I need it and I would not take a job because I didn’t like the work environment. I thought this was a personal preference of mine but its nice to know that there are other people like myself that think the same way I do when it comes to work environments.
