I am beamed down to the strange glowing circle that steps down to another glowing circle with a majestic diamond hovering over the bizarre structure. Then a voice calls down, seemingly from the heavens and says, “Welcome to summoner’s rift.” I jump back as if i'd been knocked out by an earthquake. I look to my left and see a peculiar man in a sort of roadside cart stand. Upon looking around I see those around me are prepared for war. The chinese man with a blindfold and ponytail asks for my aid in the thick of the jungle. He radiated confidence and the belt on his waist told me he was not to be messed with. I look down and see that my skin is a slippery blue and I am wielding a trident. I trade the old hermit man with the cart the gold i find in my pocket for a ring and some red drinks. I figure they must be important since everyone else had already gotten something off his cart. I rush to the spot where the Chinese man wanted me. The voice from the sky called out again, “Thirty seconds until minions spawn.”
The smell of pine reminded me of Christmas but the nervousness in the air told me that I needed to prepare myself for what lie ahead. Then, suddenly a giant stone creature and two little offspring appear as quickly as lightning. The guy who wanted my help had no trouble at all slapping the thing in the face but, he did ask for my help so i jumped in and stabbed it with my trident. It countered by slamming its fists upon my head. Although, it hurt I knew their were much more important things to worry about then a bump on the head. The demon was vaporized just as quickly as it appeared. The martial arts man told me his name was Lee Sin and thanked me for my help. In the corner of my eye I saw a map which showed where everyone...

As I return to the man in the purple robe I notice the entire company of my allies is hiding in the bush. However, the other bush to my right is also rusling stilling the very air I breathe.”For demacia!” My ally shouts. We all join in and we rush toward the statue the magician disintegrates before he even had time to react. The tiger disappears for a second but I throw a shark at the fiend and he too degenerates. We smash the statue even though it fires down at us we go further and further down the sweat inducing path arriving just in time to see a giant purple circle identical to the one back down our side of the path explode so violently we were knocked off our feet as if an atom bomb had exploded before our very eyes debris reined down on our faces and the smell of ashes stood at our feet but we were happy because this was the smell of victory.
For many, the world of Runescape is an unfamiliar world. Runescape involves many players in a medieval world of ghosts, goblins, and dangerous dragons. By fighting these monsters, characters can level up and get stronger. Each combat level that a player acquires increases his or her character’s strength by one point. People outside this discourse community would have a difficult time trying to understand everything that is going on in this internet game. Even people playing for years might not know everything there is to know about the game. It takes about two weeks to understand and incorporate Runescape’s terms and ways to trade, but that two weeks goes by plenty fast. Breaking things down to its simplest parts is a tough thing to do, but it puts the world of Runescape into view for others that have not heard about the game. Interacting with the other players of Runescape and understanding what the other people are trying to say are key survival techniques that must be used in order to last in this game.
I then realized I was taken to some sort of place, I heard creatures screaming, I began to panic, I was scared I wanted to know where they were taking me, I was put into some sort of warm log and I saw thousands of creatures before I was put in there and they were scary. All of a sudden it got quiet and I was taken out of my log I was held in the air to do my sage, I didn't know why I looked around and saw only creatures. The huge and well dressed creature said, “It is Spring” I was wondering, my the creature said that, but after the celebrations was over and before he put me back in my new home, he said today was Groundhog day it is a celebration with you if you see your shadow we will have 6 more weeks of winter and if you don't we have spring that's how I became Punxsutawney Phil and don't forget to see me on Thursday, February 2 I hope to see you
I knew what this meant. The walls were down. Señorita Rodriguez yelled at us to get ready, get into the right stance because as of this moment, we were to fight for our survival. I spin around and whip out my katana, Kian whips out his pocket knife and we move cautiously to the door, knowing full well what we were to be greeted with. Kian yanks the metallic door open, the muscles in his arm extracting and retracting. He takes a huge stride out into the open, he was vulnerable. I had to help him. I step out next to Kian and am faced with death. The rotting flesh melting off their faces, the clothing they once loved battered and torn because the plague hit Earth like a hurricane. All at once. Every country was infected. We both spun and twirled around each other as the sounds of groans from the monsters surrounded us, I could feel how introverted and cold he was just standing with him against the monsters. A shout filled my ears as Matt came running, his scalpel already tainted red from the blood of the poor souls that were taken too soon from this world. Kian’s icy demeanour diminishes as he heard Matt and his will to fight grew stronger. The schools bundle of ice melts away as Matt stood by him and fought, Matt, Kian’s personal ray of sunshine that killed the ice cold beast within
The moon gleams luminously down on the clearing, revealing a small village that appears to be whittled out of the jungle. On the outermost edge of a cluster of small buildings there sits a hut, all of its windows lit by firelight. All of a sudden a fierce squalling cry pierces the quiet night. The mother lying inside the hut breathes out a sigh of relief as she wipes her sweaty brow. After all these months, her baby has finally made his way into the world. She reaches out and grabs a hold of her newborn son, bringing him up to her so she can see his tiny face. As she looks down on him, a whimper of dismay escapes her. It’s a monster! Surely this horrifying creature cannot be her baby! His face seems to be split from the lower lip up; he looks like he is snarling at her. As she watches, he utters another loud cry. The ghastly tissue where his cherubic mouth should be flaps wildly. Her heart sinks in grief as she realizes that all her pain has been for naught. This monster cannot be allowed to live. They will have to dispose of him.
It burned down your cheeks, bubbling and you could feel the boils on the flesh popping, a mixture of puss and blood. Stop. Stop crying, you kept telling yourself but it was of no use. You were a small insignificant bug to them and that’s what you continued to tell yourself. The two headed creature turned back to the stove and you took it as an opportunity to escape. Your insides were burning from the acid and when you opened the door to your room, fifty or so small, colorful demons seem to rule the realm; a bunch were using your bed as a trampoline, others messing with your radio, they flew around the room cackling at each other, you saw another pee on your math book as it eyed you suspiciously.
Swirling fog and dynamic light surround my silhouette, a warped halo of ominous colors accentuating the restrained passion of my abrupt, powerful gestures. A demonic cackle resonates from my parted, sneering lips, a sense of power emanating from my very pores. I summon my strength for my greatest achievement, my moment of glory, the heroes of humanity having fallen before my wrath, as pleas for reconsideration bombard my deaf ears. The stroke of a button - water vapor and carbon are the last remnants of the blue and green orb that for so long careened around a furnace of burning hydrogen.
I awoke, frightened and alone, with a monster standing beside my bed. Although my body was paralyzed with fear, my mind was awake, trying to figure out how this hideous creature could have found me. As I gazed into the hypnotizing, dark eyes of this giant, the room altered, and I found myself, once again, in the basement of my father’s house. Surrounded with medical equipment, a rush of adrenaline pulsed through my tired body, forcing it awake. The monster walked slowly through the room, dragging his long, boney finger along the table. I remembered this basement very well, as I spent a great deal of time occupying it; however, there was something different, something was missing, something had changed. I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Before I could spot the difference, an odd aroma began filling the air, making it somewhat difficult to breathe. Once again I found myself spinning, falling through a dark tunnel with no sense of direction or time, I closed my eyes tightly. Whenever the spinning sensation concluded, I opened my eyes. The aroma was stronger here, forcing tears out of my eyes and my dinner back up my throat. I knew exactly where I was…
The child’s game had ended. After I nearly ran Kurtz over, we stood facing each other. He was unsteady on his feet, swaying like the trees that surrounded us. What stood before me was a ghost. Each layer of him had been carved away by the jungle, until nothing remained. Despite this, his strength still exceeded that of my own. With the tribal fires burning so close, one shout from him would unleash his natives on me. But in that same realization, I felt my own strength kindle inside me. I could just as easily muffle his command and overtake him. The scene flashed past my eyes as though I was remembering not imagining. The stick that lay two feet from me was beating down on the ghost, as my bloodied hand strangled his cries. My mind abruptly reeled backwards as I realized what unspeakable dark thoughts I had let in. Kurtz seemed to understand where my mind had wandered; it was as though the jungle’s wind has whispered my internal struggles to him. His face twisted into a smile. He seemed to gloat and enjoy standing by to watch my soul begin to destroy itself.
Today we hit a long and rushing river, that I overheard was called Laromy river. The first few steps were simple, then the current started to push. I had made it to the other side of the river, when I heard a scream, and I saw one of the guiders being swept down the stream. In an instant they were gone. The dripping survivors and I were welcomed with a group of soldiers with towels. The soldiers lead us to buildings where we could sleep the night. That night I was feed the soft bedding hay, and they gave me clean good tasting
As I inched my way toward the cliff, my legs were shaking uncontrollably. I could feel the coldness of the rock beneath my feet when my toes curled around the edge in one last futile attempt at survival. My heart was racing like a trapped bird, desperate to escape. Gazing down the sheer drop, I nearly fainted; my entire life flashed before my eyes. I could hear stones breaking free and fiercely tumbling down the hillside, plummeting into the dark abyss of the forbidding black water. The trees began to rapidly close in around me in a suffocating clench, and the piercing screams from my friends did little to ease the pain. The cool breeze felt like needles upon my bare skin, leaving a trail of goose bumps. The threatening mountains surrounding me seemed to grow more sinister with each passing moment, I felt myself fighting for air. The hot summer sun began to blacken while misty clouds loomed overhead. Trembling with anxiety, I shut my eyes, murmuring one last pathetic prayer. I gathered my last breath, hoping it would last a lifetime, took a step back and plun...
Shivering in the blasting cold night, the words fear and death invaded my soul and lamentably waited for the deathblow. The darkness of the lemon orchard under the full moon hidden behind long, high parallels of cloud was accelerating my fear and advancing the idea of `suddenly disappearing` in my mind. I had never thought of death before. The rows of lemon tree standing like elite soldiers made me feel like an enemy soldier captured in war and was being taken to be executed by guillotine. A shotgun was targeted towards my head which made my eyes and legs become paralysed; thus I could not feel or sense anything. My eyes looking blindly and my legs walking briskly with the question” will I die” stuck on my mind like a tick attaches into skin.
I reached for the knife, my fingers met the plastic case. “Dang it” I cursed. I must of dropped the knife when I tripped. I was thinking about going to look for it but my hopes were crushed when I heard something coming into the mouth of the cave. I dropped to the ground and started to snake my way behind a boulder. I armed the flare gun and took aim at what was to come around the corner. I heard a rock tumble and roll on the ground. I heard a something being dragged along the dirt. I glared at the figure, the little moonlight giving me some sight. I heard Anmol screaming. HELP, SOMEONE HELP” I watched in terror as a slumped figure rounded the corner, I could not see its face. It was black and deformed in a disgusting way. I saw it take Anmol to a corner, I heard Anmol scream one last time. A shrill, spine tingling scream. I heard something cracking and tearing. Like a green branch snapping over your knee. I was pretty sure that this thing, had just killed Anmol. Just before I was about to run, something was in my peripheral vision. Something that didn’t suit the colour way of the cave. I looked, at first I was surprised that there was a hat in here. I continued to look at it, gazing. Something about it was strange, like I’ve seen it before. A yellow sun hat with a sunflower brooch? Then it came to me, it was the mother brooch the one that went missing. I snapped out of thinking and decided it was my only chance to run. My feet meet the ground, I sprung out and went beyond my top capabilities of sprinting. I knew the thing was after me when I heard It screech. I turned around, aimed the gun behind me and pulled the trigger. For once the cave was lit up, I briefly saw everything. Anmol limp body, a pile of bones and the killer monster that chased me. It screeched at the flares brightness and dove into the shadows. I loaded another flare. I looked up, I was going to shoot the bastard again. I law its shadow and shot, it
Disappointment, disbelief and fear filled my mind as I lye on my side, sandwiched between the cold, soft dirt and the hot, slick metal of the car. The weight of the car pressed down on the lower half of my body with monster force. It did not hurt, my body was numb. All I could feel was the car hood's mass stamping my body father and farther into the ground. My lungs felt pinched shut and air would neither enter nor escape them. My mind was buzzing. What had just happened? In the distance, on that cursed road, I saw cars driving by completely unaware of what happened, how I felt. I tried to yell but my voice was unheard. All I could do was wait. Wait for someone to help me or wait to die.
I’m the type of guy that would go out and buy a Call of Duty game, pop it open and gather all my friends and jump right into it. Call of Duty is one of the most popular games out and many people love to play. It is competitive, it has online play, and you can also create a clan or group to play against other people around the world online. Call of Duty dates back to 2003 and really wasn’t popular then because it’s all about killing your enemy. Many parents didn’t want their child to play the game. Growing up, I didn’t know much about video games, so I wasn’t really into them until I started playing Call of Duty. Not only does it have military based features, it also has zombies and/or aliens features as well.
When I stepped into the large neatly organized white polished plane, I never though something would go wrong. I woke up and found myself on an extremely hot bright sunny desert island filled with shiny soft bright green palm trees containing rough bright yellow hard felt juicy apples. The simple strong plane I was in earlier shattered into little pieces of broken glass and metal when crashing onto the wet slimy coffee colored sand and burning with red orange colored flames. After my realization to this heart throbbing incident I began to run pressing my eight inch footsteps into the wet squishy slimy light brown sand looking in every direction with my wide open eyes filled with confusion in search of other survivors. After finding four other survivors we began moving our small petite weak legs fifty inches from the painful incident. Reaching our destination which was a tiny space filled with dark shade blocking the extreme heat coming from the bright blue sky, I felt my eyelids slowly moving down my light colored hazel eyes and found myself in a dream. I was awakened the next day from a grumbling noise coming from my empty stomach.
