I look forward to a career in committed research where I considered Computational Science program as a novel challenge in my profession. I find this program to be a great course which I believe is an excellent preparation and will give me a good foundation in theoretical and practical aspects to excel in the desired workplace of tomorrow. My decision to continue my education in this field is the outcome of my profound interest in Computational Science. I thoroughly prepared for further studies in the field of Computer Science and I would like to deepen my practical understanding of the course. My future goals include, establishing a career in research particularly in the field of Data analysis and advanced Computing. These topics have triggered my research interest and I would like to be involved in research that focuses on these areas, hoping to work in the near future.

As global citizens, whatever happens to one happens to us all; as such, we should avoid isolating ourselves. Aware of the many paths to choose from in this field, including non-profits and think tanks, I will seek to pursue work for an international organization like United Nations to help it gain more access of knowledge from the most prestige minds in the world. At Tennessee Tech University, my undergraduate program should be described as rewarding and fruitful. Her advice echoed many of the advice and conversations that we have had in our seminars. During his 16-year journey from school to Undergrad, a student is in the process of finding what he loves doing; his passion. By the time he is done with his Bachelors, with enough maturity and experience, he is clear with what he is good at. At this point, I consider graduation as a defining chapter in the student’s journey where he gets to polish his passion and skill, and transform it into a profession.

It has never occur to me that one of these days I would have to write a personal statement for a graduate program for Computer Science. When I was young, I have always picture myself as an auto mechanic guy or even worse, working at a fast food restaurant. I picture myself as an auto mechanic not because I wanted to but the fact that my entire relatives do not think that I am capable of having a better career. In college, I started out as an Electrical Engineer major assuming that it would be an interesting field to get in to. However, I was wrong because I rarely go to class and did not concentrate in all my engineering studies.
The issue of internationalisation has been the subject of a fierce debate in higher education throughout the last decades. Attending universities in the UK has traditionally been the main route for international students to acquire foreign degrees so there is no doubt that internationalisation plays an important role in our lives. Nowadays, British universities tend to realize the importance of internationalisation in higher education and become formally committed to international students. A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. My responsibilities have given me scenarios to put on my problem solving and interpersonal skills in real life situations. After careful consideration of my aptitude, interests and experiences gained while pursuing my under graduation in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, I have decided to pursue my Masters in the field of Computer Science. Being a dynamic and ever evolving field, many new developments are expected and there is immense scope for research on new products and applications. To progress and make a mark in this field, I realize that it is important for me to pursue my Masters from a reputable university. I have always dreamt of taking up research.
I've always been fascinated by research, especially work that benefits people or the environment. The idea that my efforts may better someone's life or help create a greener planet motivates me. After a successful career in IT, I intend to pursue my MS in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania in order to build my research skills and work towards my interests in Computer Visualization, Data Mining, and Software Engineering. After completing my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, I was interested in joining the Information Technology industry. Following this, my ideal position would be one in which I am able to pursue my innate love, problem solving. In four years at the University of Texas at Dallas, I will be graduating with my degree in Computer Science. To achieve this goal, I will take various steps to ensure my success. Some of these steps include taking major specific classes and complete needed coursework in a timely manner. Rather than taking classes that would be easy, I will need to take classes that will further my knowledge in the computer science field. I chose to major in computer science because it incorporates all my academic interests in one field. It has mathematics, problem solving, physics, and computers.
