Attend the tales beyond anyone’s imagination; often told to a young generation, the story of the tooth fairy or Santa Claus always seem to come to an end at an appropriate age. Yet, unidentified flying objects are always left to the individual to be unsure of throughout their lifetime with no definite proven answer. Why are UFOs disregarded by government officials so often? Why are the people who spot the UFOs laughed out of a room? Obviously, the people that the world depends desperately on to protect us, are keeping a secret they feel may lead to chaos. Many histories of sightings, cover-ups, and the remarkable new discoveries in science learned each day should prove that UFOs are no laughing matter. All the possibilities the universe holds is a mystery to all, yet, the government should make UFOs one less mystery to solve.
In the beginning of the earliest documented civilization, UFO was depicted in inscriptions and cave walls with statements from witnesses of what they had encountered. The first aircraft was not invented until 1903, yet, there are sightings of UFOs many years before the thought of air travel ever came about. The earliest clues of “ancient astronauts” recorded were from Sumerian Legends where the USO (unidentified submarine object) visitor “Ea” popped out of the Persian Gulf, “half man, half fish” wearing what would be known today as a wet suit. “Ea” claimed to be from the twelfth planet in the Milky Way, which has still not been found by modern astronomy. The honest answer about the reality of UFOs from the world leaders would definitely open the eyes and minds to greater possibilities of what this elaborate universe is capable of.

... For, even if one would see an alien or even just a spacecraft, it would not have enough credence to prove beyond another person’s quizzical denial. Hence, bringing me back to my original issue, if someone really did see this phenomena where are these other people? I believe we will never know the answer regarding extraterrestrials until there is a national revelation of some sort. Once again, the skeptics are left waiting for an answer.

The government’s contradictory reports demonstrate that their knowledge of the incident is dynamic and dependent on how they want the people to react. This matter is important because it raises the possibility that if the government is hiding information from the public about a spacecraft accident, there may be other incidents where the government is concealing the truth from the public. Despite the government’s best attempts to cover up the Roswell incident, eyewitness accounts from the common person validate the idea that an unidentified flying object crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and eternally changed the lives of several people.
The mass hysteria of UFOs and the Salem Witch Trials share many similarities between each other. Some that were stated were the fact that people claim that they have witnessed UFOs or witnessed a Witch. These claims also lead to the similarities of how people were split in both topics, never agreeing to one side of the hysteria. This paper will prove it will remain unknown if the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) crash sighting at Roswell, New Mexico on July 4th, 1947 did happen, although the government is hiding Extraterrestrial information there. The following is a list of terms that may become confusing to some readers.

The thought of the existence of aliens seems to have been around since the beginning of time. Every individual has a biological influence on their development; two individuals combine their genetic information to create a new organism, carrying biological predispositions that will shape their expressed behaviors and characteristics. However, Susan Griffin, author of the essay “Our Secret,” argues that while genetic influences are significant, they are not the sole contributors to an individual’s development. Throughout her essay, Griffin reveals to her readers that the presence of external, uncontrollable factors from an individual’s environment can be equally influential as they diverge the individual off of the predetermined path of life created by biological factors.
We may never know what lays beyond our night sky. It may be nothing, or our Government may be hiding everything from us, perhaps our President is behind these cases as well. This is the mystery that will trouble us for generations, but using evidence such as the LA shooting back in World War II, It is easy to gleam that: Aliens, Do, Exist.
Whether or not the Roswell incident truly involved a UFO remains unclear. How ever, the military cover-up only served to fuel the fire of our imaginations. Interest continues to grow, as questions remain unanswered. Even Bill Clinton has been quoted as saying “…If the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it either, and I want to know”(qtd. in Wright 105).
The thought of government cover-ups have been long discussed. The government has always, in the past, tried to keep any sign of aliens, whether it be pictures from space, to crashes on earth, to a low or nonexistent level. Just recently has the government been harassed to the point where they actually gave us clues to alien existence. It has in some ways been believed that the government has worked in partnership with popular movie directors, to produce alien movies to ease the thought that we may not be alone. Such movies as ôThe Arrivalö and the ever popular ôIndependence Dayö are very good examples of well convincing alien movies. If this is true, they did a good job, because statistics state that 75% of people today believe that there is some kind of intelligent life forms besides ourselves in the universe. Do aliens exist? For eons, mankind has pondered over this peculiar question and a revealing truth has yet to be answered. However, one thing is known for sure, the discovery of intelligent alien life outside of Earth would provide support to prove and/or disprove fundamental beliefs that have been held for centuries. In any case, the discovery would serve as a cornerstone for humanity to make the quantum leap in understanding the purpose of our existence. Based on numerous examples, it is impossible to deny the existence of extraterrestrial life outside of Earth. Reportings of sightings, ancient civilizations beliefs, and scientific proof from scientists and astronomers are all key factors that contribute to this statement.
