I am an ISTJ with unique personality strengths and weaknesses. My strengthens are being hardworking, productive, efficient, and driven (Kroeger, Thuesen, & Rutledge, 2002, p. 306). In opposition, being compulsive, inexpressive, and driven by routines are my weaknesses (Kroeger et al, 2002, pp. 308-309). The Prentice Hall Self-Assessment increased awareness of more personality strengths and weaknesses for my consideration. In application, I needed to understand my personal behaviors, tendencies, and those of others in my organization so I can better interact and serve others (Fischer, 2006, p. 1). For instance, although I let things brew to gather facts before applying a logical decision, some people use a quicker decision process (Nutt, 1986, p. 358). Additionally, I am optimistic and a realist concerning workplace diversity as I view it as practical and useful to understand and collaborate with others (Pearson Education, 2016, I.B.4). The Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test certainly brought to light many unseen aspects towards my personal character traits and leadership style at work and at home (2015). Whether I am interacting with members from my personal or professional life, my INTJ personality type dominates my perception for good or ill. My five strengths according to the strength finder include; balance, this helps me be aware of treating all people equally regardless of the situation. I am neither in anyone 's favor or against anyone as this to me is selfishness and individualism. This would result in a situation where some people scale heights due to connections while others are lagging behind. When taking the two different personality tests, I received the same result for both. I am considered to have an ISFJ (Introvert, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging) personality type. These personality tests I believe help believe get more in depth with the type of person they are but also help them to see there are other people in the world that are like them. I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in anything we choose to do, whether it is positive abilities and skills that can help achieve our goals or negative personal areas that need improvement. Knowing yourself and what you can do, can help you recognize and overcome your weaknesses.
Type A Personality or Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) include typical responses of competitiveness, time urgency, and hostility. Type A’s normally strive towards a goal without feeling a sense of joy in their efforts or accomplishments. They also seem to be in a constant struggle against the clock and become impatient with any delays and unproductive time. Type A’s also tend to see the worse in others and display anger, envy and lack of compassion (McLeod, 2017).
Through the self-assessment instruments utilized in this program, I have gained wealth of knowledge about my strengths, and weaknesses and how they affect my personal and professional life. By using different exercises, I recognized new strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, I identified ways to develop my strengths and overcome my weaknesses. The Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI) identified some of my strengths as the ability to get things done, initiating, and taking risks (Kolb, 2007). In the Strongest Self Feedback Exercise, some of the feedback listed my strengths as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being self-confident, a fast learner, determined, hardworking, and an awesome listener (Drucker, 2005).

According to the study of this course, I have learned many useful management skills and I feel like these skills will be applied to my future career development. When working on the self- assessment tests, I found myself fall into the category of the ISTJ personality types, which as illustrated by Myers Briggs, is the type of personality that is conscientious, considerate, and helpful. Personality traits such as honest, dutiful, practical and responsible are my strengths; personality traits such as stubborn, insensitive and poor communication skill are my weaknesses. Related to the knowledge I have learned in the course I believe both strengths and weakness will have influence to my future career development.
