Management across Culture Every culture is distinguished in from each other. Some of them are more out of ordinary than others, having fewer similarities like the most. United by common business practices, a lot of the corporations have been struggling with national, regional and local differences in the management of their organization. Their employees, shareholders and customers have been affected by these differences. One of the golden rules I’ve read in different sources is known as “Treat people the way you want them to treat you”. In most conference in United States when a speaker expresses his ideas, very few times do they say “we Americans”. This it’s a particular trait to be aware when exchanging services with a collectivist society. American businesses when going to China have the tendency to concentrate on facts about that particular company and what they can gain as individuals. Whenever a company does face a problem there their best chance it’s to appeal at the connections they have rather than but a base on the local government. In a society like China it matters who your connections are more than actually United States. The ability to adapt to a variety of circumstances shows an important new reflection of a person problem-solving. Just as some people are able to complete some of the most complicated mathematical problems, being able to adapt and have a good social interaction shows a leader management skills. Very different from the Western beliefs, Confucianism is a philosophy rather than a religion. Kong Qui was a senior civil servant around the sixty century BCE. He adopted the name western Confucius, that comes from Latin of the title Kongfuzi which meant Great Master Kong.
