My Myers Briggs type is ISFJ. I am 22% Introvert, 38% Sensing, 62% Feeling, and 11% Judging. People that have this type do best in occupations that have a lot of people interaction. It is also said that ISFJ has great potential in the health field or in social working. Some strength ISFJ’s have can include: easy to work with, good memory, and good with people. Some not so great things about ISFJ’s include; they feel like they have to be needed, they can easily feel unappreciated and can be bad at delegating. “While their work ethic is high on the ISFJ priority list, their families are the centers of their lives.” (Margaret) ISFJ is one of the sixteen personality types identified in the Myers Briggs Typing. About 9% to 14% of the population is ISFJ.
Myers Briggs Personality type can give you insight on how you view your everyday life. I was skeptical when I was taking the test. I was like there’s no way this test can accurately know my type. I was pretty surprised to find it was pretty dead on. I never though of myself as being an introvert, judging and feeling yes! I know I do a lot of things based on my feelings and at times im quick to judge before knowing all the facts or information.
My virtual team members and myself all share mostly the same types. Some of the differences can work toward making us a better and more focused team by using the strengths and weaknesses of each type. Understanding how the different aspects of each personality can work together makes a better team.
