Introduction Mental health embosses a range of experiences and situations that impacts on an individual’s health around the social, cultural and economic impacts which have direct relevance to the emotional and social wellbeing of clients who experience mental health issues. Mental health Is a state of well-being which allows for people to realise their own potential and are able to understand the normal stress in life. However, people who have mental health issues usually have been diagnosed with a disorder which impacts on how some individual thinks, behave and interact with other social networks. This means that it is important to understand how barriers around access to services, economics, social issues, power discourses and the perceptions towards people with mental health. Social exclusion barriers can be quite complex and can manifest into a number of more severe issues that impact on the livelihood of an individual.
