Malaysian Economic Miracle
Malaysia is a country with developing economy. It belongs to group of the richest and developed countries among developing countries - to the group of New Industrial Countries. “In 2007, the economy of Malaysia was the 29th largest economy in the world by purchasing power parity with gross domestic product for 2007 was estimated to be $357.9 billion”-(from Wikipedia,free Encyclopedia).
Nowadays Malaysia became the world’s largest producer of tin, rubber, and palm oil. These three commodities along with other raw materials firmly set Malaysia's economic tempo well into the mid-20th century (from Wikipedia,free Encyclopedia).
In August 2007 Malaysia celebrated its 50 anniversary of independence. For almost 400 years Malaysia was a colony of British Empire and for that time when Malaysia got its independence, Malaysia was one of the poorest country in the world.
The GDP of Malaysia on that time was equal to GDP of such countries as Haiti, Honduras and Egypt and approximately less on 5% of GDP Ghana. Nowadays the income of Malaysia is greater than income of Ghana on 7,8 %, greater on 5 % of income of Honduras, and greater on 2,5 % of income of Egypt. There is also another important moment that Malaysia is country with high authority within Islamic world, nowadays in Malaysia live not only Malay Muslim people, but also people who came from other Muslim countries in order to live in Malaysia, because Malaysia has all living conditions to Muslim population “Malaysian miracle” is a real miracle because not every ex colonial country could reach such success as Malaysia did.

One of the most interesting indigenous groups in the world is the Batek of Malaysia, this is a group of people that live in the oldest rain forest of peninsular Malaysia. Orang ASli means “Original people” in the native Malay Language, and they truly are the original people of the land. Being a nomadic group of hunters and gatherers, means that they are at the mercy of the land and the elements for survival. Batek beliefs note that, the rainforest was created by “superhuman” beings for the Batek to use and will destroy the world and everything on it if the Batek were ever to leave the rainforest ( K.M. Endcott 1979a; Lye 2004). The Batek believe that the “superhuman” beings created the forest for the Batek to harvest, build houses in, and provide also to decorations for their ceremonial rituals.
During British colonial times and early independence, Kuala Lumpur had been the capital of the country as well as the state of Selangor.On 1 April 1961, the name changed into Kuala Lumpur Suruhanjaya Ibu Kota. Kuala Lumpur later achieved city status in 1 February 1972 becoming the first settlement in Malaysia to be granted the status after independence. The name changed into Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur. Travel and tourism is the largest industry as it a billion dollar industry. Malaysia currently acquired their biggest achievement of securing 25.7 million tourist arrivals last year which will contribute the millions of ringgit to the economy impact.
The Malaysia Airline System (MAS) reported a loss of over RM1.3 billion for the Financial Year 2005. It was unacceptable to many parties such as the stakeholders and the government especially the announcement was made at the same time as some of MAS regional competitors reported strong profits in the same year.
Malaysia was once a colonized land and known as Malaya back then. Malaysia is one of the Commonwealth countries, which means Malaysia was one of the British colonies.
Indonesia is a country in south-east Asia. It has the world’s highest population of Muslims and is the world’s 4th most populous country. Its capital is Jakarta. Having its world rank at 18th by economy, 15th largest in purchasing parity respectively, thus becoming a slowly progressive country.

Can anyone imagine what will happen to Malaysia after a few more decades? Debt crisis in Malaysia is getting more severe due to lack of management among individuals. Serious debt crisis might lead to bankruptcy to our country. Nation leaders should lead others away from debt. If this scenario continues, Malaysia might follow the footstep of Greece, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Debt crisis can be avoided by providing trainings and courses to the employees, improve individual personal finance management and filtering candidates in hiring process.

Malaysia biggest problem is the environmental pollution. Although people already know how harmful these things are but they still go on. The three main pollution that happen in Malaysia are air pollution, water pollution and land pollution. Mostly pollution effect by the air conditional that release CFC’s gasses, rubbish that been thrown to the rival and open burning. All of this pollution will be link to all kind of diseases, sickness, bacteria and virus. For an example lung cancer that will happen to people cause by breathing the polluted air that been create by Malaysian themselves.
The main reason of job opportunities increasing is manufacturing, investment activities, financial market and economy situation of Malaysia is attracted to the foreigners. This will increase the wages and compensation of workers.

Each individual should tolerates and respects each other in order to nourish harmony within the society. Every citizen must inculcates moral values in their daily lives.
